Independence Day 2020: PM Modi will address the nation from the Red Fort, Learn minute-to-minute program

 Strict security measures were put in place at the Red Fort in compliance with the rules of social discrimination in view of the Corona epidemic.

 The country will celebrate the 74th Independence Day 2020 on Saturday.  On the eve of Independence Day, President Ramnath Kovind addressed the nation.  On Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the flag from the Red Fort and address the nation.  Speaking of Gujarat, the state level independence festival is to be held in Gandhinagar.  Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will be present.  On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel will salute the flag at the Police Parade Ground at Mehsana

Speaking of Prime Minister Modi's program, he will reach Rajghat at 7 am and stay there for about 8 to 10 minutes.  At around 7:18 a.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Lahore Gate at Red Fort, where he will be welcomed by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Defense Secretary.
The Prime Minister will then be given a Guard of Honor.  The Defense Secretary will then introduce the Prime Minister from the GOC Delhi area and then the Prime Minister will hoist the flag at 7:30 p.m.  Then the departure of the security forces will give them a national salute.  The Army band will play the national anthem and the Prime Minister will be saluted with 21 cannons. 

Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation.  After the Prime Minister's address, the cadets of the National Cadet Corps will sing the national anthem and then the Prime Minister will leave the Red Fort.  More than 300 cameras have been installed for security and footage is being monitored, the police official said.
