Speaking about this, Jyoti Malhotra the Managing Director of Volvo Cars India said that Volvo has gained the worldwide popularity as a safe and a high technology car. Capitalizing on the potential of the Meta verse shows that how important the Volvo values the ​​technology in its cars.

He further added that this will be the first time in the Indian market that a new model is going to be launched on a platform like Meta verse. We expect Volvo’s XC40 recharge with a range of 400 kms per charge to prove the economical for the consumers who do not only want to take advantage of the safety and the luxury features of a company like Volvo but also want to opt for the electric vehicles as an alternative. But looking too the special thing is that this car has been assembled in India by itself. Volvo’s XC40 Recharge is the newest car to join the locally assembled portfolio of the Volvo cars in the country. Lithium battery of about 78 kwh will be seen in this car. Apart from this, the two electric motors can also be seen in this vehicle. While the power of about 408 bhp can be generated when the one motor is running,and the torque of about 660 Nm can be generated when both of the motors are running.

The vehicle is built on a thick modular architecture platform and looks similar to the ICE model. The pre-booking of this car, which is going to be launched on the July 26, has also started. According to the reports, the company is going to declare the prices of this vehicle on the day of its launch.
