The venue now has a starting price of Rs 6.75 lakh and the top variant is priced at Rs 11.65 lakh.

The initial price of the Kia Sonnet is Rs 4,000 less than the venue due to the addition

Hyundai has increased the price of its subcompact SUV venue as automobile companies are currently offering discounts on their products in view of the festive season. According to the variant, this car has become expensive from Rs 5,000 to Rs 12,000. After the price hike, the starting price is Rs 6.75 lakh, while the top variant is priced at Rs 11.65 lakh. Not only that, the company has also made changes to its lineup. Now instead of 24 you will get only 19 variants. The company is not currently offering any offers or discounts.

Hyundai Venue: Changed the lineup

A total of 24 variants of the compact SUV were present in the lineup when the Venue iMT prices came out in June 2020. But now Hyundai Motor India has dropped the dual-tone variants of SX and SX (O) from the lineup.

This is because the Sport variant which comes with red highlights on the interior and exterior and is available with SX and SX (O) trim with dual tone color option has the venue SX and SX (O) trim removed from the lineup.

Hyundai Venue: Price compared to competitors

Due to the price hike, the starting price of the Kia Sonnet is now Rs. 4,000 has fallen. However, the Rs 12.89 lakh range-topping sonnet GTX + is still more expensive than the Venue 1.0 T-GDC SX + Sport (Rs 11.65 lakh).

In terms of equipment list, the venue is still a better option than the 5 compact SUVs in the market like Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, and Tata Nexon.

Despite the price hike, there is no doubt that the compact SUV space has become a volume driver for its competitor Venue, Hyundai.
